OK, so the Snow Plows hit the neighborhood today on the North/South streets.
Sadly, 19 cars were towed by the City of Spokane.
I think that they are serious this year.
You East/West folks have been warned, as they will be working your streets tomorrow.
Get those cars off the street before 9AM.
Don't give the City of Spokane your money, or your car!

The City of Spokane continues its regularly scheduled leaf pickup in the Browne’s Addition neighborhood.
Leaf pickup occurs in Browne’s Addition for two days beginning 9 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 15 through Wednesday, Dec. 16. Cars must be moved off of the street. Cars not moved will be towed as needed.
Tuesday’s leaf pick up route will be the north/south streets between the area south of Riverside Avenue and north of 2nd Avenue/Sunset Boulevard, which includes the area west of Maple Street to east of Coeur D’Alene Street.
Wednesday’s leaf pickup schedule will be the east/west streets between the area south of Riverside Avenue to north of 2nd Avenue/Sunset Boulevard, which includes the area west of Maple Street and east of Coeur d’Alene Street.
In the event of snow, leaf pick up will stop and then continue when weather allows.
Being aware of the leaf pickup schedule is key to a successful pickup experience. Knowing when crews are in your area and removing vehicles from the streets ensures your neighborhood is cleared of as many leaves as possible.

Neighborhood Notification Ordinance
With the passage of the Neighborhood Notification
Ordinance, neighborhoods have had questions about the notifications
they have received including how to respond. The Office of Neighborhood
Services has organized a training with the Building
& Developer Services Department to help neighborhood councils
navigate the notifications regarding development within their
neighborhood. This training will teach your neighborhood what notices
you will be receiving, the process and how you can be engaged
in the application review and decision making process.
It is strongly encouraged that all neighborhood councils attend this training!
Please pass this along to your neighborhood council membership. Attached is a flyer to share.
Date: Monday, December 28th, 2015
Time: 5:45pm
Location: West Central Community Center
Please RSVP to jcaro@spokanecity.org or 625-6733.
Thanks,
Jackie Caro
