Good and bad news today... the bad news is that we still have 49 days of winter ahead. The GOOD NEWS is, that your Browne's Addition Neighborhood Council meets again in just three days!
Drop in this Wednesday evening (February 3) at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, to see what's going on in your neighborhood. We begin promptly at 6:30, and we'll have you at home, binging on Netflix by 8pm. Check the agenda below. - Tim
Welcome your 2016 Neighborhood Council Executive Committee! Our 2016 elections were held on January 6, 2016 and here are the results.
Rick Biggerstaff retains his position as Chair Eric Kramer retains his position as Vice-Chair Julie Biggerstaff retains her position as Treasurer Amanda Hamilton replaces MaryLou Sproul as Secretary (MaryLou stepped down, and we are sorry to lose her)
Tim Finneran retains his position as Communications Officer Karl Zacher and Mike Harves retained their positions as Members at Large.
Happy New Year! January also means it's election time in Browne's Addition.
Your Neighborhood Council will be holding the January General General meeting and elections for the Executive Committee, this Wednesday evening, January 6 at 6:30 pm. Our January General Meeting will be held at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture.
Anyone can toss their hat in the ring for the following positions: Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Communications Officer, and Member at Large. We especially need a Secretary, as Mary Lou will be leaving us, but of the other positions have an incumbent willing to stay.
You can run for the position that you feel best suited for, and win that seat in an election.
