Good morning,
I am emailing a request, if you would let your neighborhood council members know that Greater Spokane C.O.P.S. at N. 120 Stevens needs volunteers who are willing to work at the COP Shop. This is your COP Shop that is now located in the beautiful and historic 1889 building at N. 120 Stevens on the second floor. We need volunteers who are willing to gift 12 hours a month and willing to work the front desk to help the community in problem solving their concerns and issues.
What is required to become a Spokane C.O.P.S. volunteer is the following:
Complete a Spokane C.O.P.S. application form
Pass a criminal background check
Participate in an interview with the COP Shop NRO and a volunteer.
Participate in mentoring at the COP Shop to learn front desk job duties, and
Complete a twelve hour volunteer orientation within one year of application. The next volunteer orientation class will be held in October 2009.
