Commute of the Century, a bicycle tour of Spokane, is a group ride and/or a self-guided tour.  This new Bike to Work Week event is brought to you by Eye Consultants Northwest. Join us for "extended lunch hour" group rides during Bike to Work Week to explore Spokane's bicycle infrastructure over six routes across the city.

2014 Regional Construction Map
      Spokane Regional Road Construction Map includes all construction projects county-wide that will impact traffic.  This year they are doing something new and only publishing it online, in an interactive format.  While that means no more paper maps, it also means people can now access it on their smartphones or other handheld devices.  It also allows user to zoon into smaller projects that are at the neighborhood-level and click on projects.

Progress Implementing Use of Force Recommendations
Spokane Mayor David Condon and Police Chief Frank Straub today reported great progress against the Use of Force Commission recommendations in its 12-month progress report to commissioners.

Cleaning From the Core-Needs More Volunteers!
Cleaning From the Core is the kickoff event for Spokane Gives week which will take place April 12th-19th.  Cleaning From the Core projects aim to clean up the downtown core of Spokane from Riverfront Park to Interstate 90.  The cleaning will go from 8:30 to 10:30am.  There will be an after event party from 10:30am-12:00pm.  To learn how you can get involved click more details.
